Portfolio: Photos by "Chico"
I recently came across a large lot of photographs by a professional photographer, nick-named Chico, from the Milwaukee area. While his professional work was standard stuff- portraits, product photos, etc...- there were a bunch of personal photos mixed in as well. Most of these dated from his days in the service during WWII- long before he became a professional. The bulk I've posted here are self-portraits. Most of the photos here survive only as contact prints, though the fact that they were mounted in photo albums attests to the fact that "Chico" considered them successful photographs worthy of being displayed.
